Meditation

You are a special child of God.  God loves you so much that He gave you the most precious gift: The human body.  He also gave you a discriminating mind, and He gave it to you so that you may truly live and not merely exist.  There is no end to the love He has for you.  In fact, He does nothing but think of what more He can do for you. 

 When you were in your mother’s womb, God was protecting you.  Through methods unknown to even the mother, He was giving you nourishment.  By the time you were born, He had already arranged for milk in the mother’s body.  Without mother’s milk, you would not have survived.  If you say that you were raised on cow’s milk or goat’s milk, remember that these animals are also mothers.  When you grew older, God had arranged other foods for you, like grains, vegetables and fruits.  

 Sometimes you feel He does not love you.  When He punishes you, you think that He is cruel, not merciful.  The fact is that He loves you enough to punish you for your wrongdoing.  As a merciful mother, He disciplines you so that you may not become a delinquent. Even when you ignore Him and sometimes speak harshly about Him and even denounce Him, He does not forsake you.  He keeps on working for you, for He loves you unconditionally.
