Our Beliefs |

1. Attainment of perfection in the human form or life necessitates the synthesis of material and spiritual knowledge. Materialism provides the physical necessities of the body, while spirituality purifies the mind and intellect, and develops the finer qualities of head and heart.
2. The tension, strife, stress, discontentment, etc. visible in modern society is because of the neglect of personal spiritual growth, while focussing purely on materialistic advancement. Genuine spiritual knowledge is thus an immanent need of modern times for helping people achieve the much needed balance in their lives.
3. Spiritual knowledge has been revealed in the spiritual texts of all the great religions around the world, and we hold them all in high esteem. However, we personally subscribe to the Hindu scriptures such as the Vedas, for attaining the deepest comprehension of the ancient time-tested path to God-realization, followed by all the revered sages of India.
4. The scriptures must be learnt from a God-realized Saint. Our Spiritual Master and Guide is Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj, a highly revered Saint of India, who has graciously revealed simple straight-forward path to God-realization, that can be practiced by all, irrespective of creed, caste, race, colour, sex or age. These teachings are expounded in his books such as Prem Ras Siddhant, or “The Philosophy of Divine Love.”
5. The following are some of the axioms of spiritual knowledge in which we believe:
(5.1) The soul is an eternal fraction of the Supreme God, who is an ocean of Divine Love and Bliss. The perfect happiness for which the soul is yearning will be attained when it is united in love with God.
(5.2) God-realization is not dependant on external rituals, but on the purity of our hearts. Thus the prime focus of spiritual practice must be the refinement of our thoughts and emotions, and the cultivation of Divine Love.
(5.3) Merely practicing devotion for a few minutes a day will not attract the Grace of God. We must learn to feel His presence at all times and in all places. Simultaneously we must spend some time everyday exclusively for the cultivation of Divine Love Consciousness.
(5.4) In the state of Divine Love Consciousness, one does not need to renounce the activities of the world. Rather, one learns to perform every action in the spirit of Devotion to the Supreme Lord.
(5.5) A powerful way of evoking Divine Love in the heart is by singing kirtans, or hymns and prayers composed by the great Saints in the glorification of God. This must be accompanied by deep meditation on the Divine Virtues, Names, Forms, and Pastimes of God.
